Furry Objects

Furry Objects

Soft + Sculptural = Furry Objects

Furry Objects is a series of textile objects created by designer Kristina Kazantseva.

The collection is an invitation to spark people’s imagination and make surroundings more playful and exciting. The objects are a study on tactility and form, encouraging the user to sense through touching the objects.

Furry Objects is a collection of both small objects and large rugs. Focusing on the material, the work is made by deconstructing shape, as well as adding an element of softness and playfulness.

The idea started with an interest in how and when we use the items within our living space, specifically how we use rugs. Working with different levels of softness, tactility and depth, the large rugs were designed with extra soft parts for sitting on the floor.

Furry Objects are made by hand using 100% wool.
