Young people’s creative place-making + Inclusive planning = Creating place
Creating place, concerns young people’s ability to experience a sense of belonging and well-being in public space.
Ellinor Portinson presents her Master project where the issue is viewed from a youth perspective, starting with the personal act of creative place-making.
The study was performed within the master program Outdoor Environments for Health and Well-being, at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU, in Alnarp. The purpose of the study is to raise the importance of inclusive planning that can meet the needs of all citizens, regardless of their age. At this seminar Ellinor gives examples and describes different aspects of the issue.
In addition to the seminar you can also see Ellinor’s work in an exhibition with the same name.
