Cooking + Local resources = Cook your own bioplastics
Welcome to join Malmö University in a 3-hour session. Be part of a practical / digital workshop. The workshop leaders run from their lab on and you cook at home in your kitchen. All are connected via zoom during the workshop, 29/5 at 9-12. After a short introduction to bioplastics and Material Driven Design, you will cook bioplastics based on the local resources potato and algae.
Material Driven Design (MDD) can be described as a design process initiated through the exploration of material, or where a material is designed, grown or developed through an explorative design process. In this case you will discover how local waste streams can be used for making sustainable materials.

Price 150 kr
Alternative A: 150 kr (includes material kit with ingredients, silicon mat, rubber spatula and a cook book)
Alternative B: Free (without kit, pdf cook book) you buy your own material. It is possible to register for alternative B until Friday, 28/5.
The Material kits can be picked up at Malmö University, Orkanen, Nordenskiöldsgatan, Malmö. If you choose alternative B we will e-mail a list of things that are needed during the workshop + pdf cook book.
