CERAMICS

The nature, the sea and the forest are great sources of inspiration for Bitte Källberg. She has worked with her hands and creatively her entire life. In the mid 1980’s she discovered clay as a mean of expression. Today, she makes stoneware that is dishwasher- and microwave proof, and decorative objects that she makes by using raku and other burning techniques. It can be elements of driftwood from the sea, roots from the forest, forging or nuno felted textile, i.e. silk / chiffon with merino wool. Raku-burnt ceramics are oh so beautiful. Each object is unique and created with joy.

TEXTILE

Carin’s vision is that her garments should be modern, but with a classic design and made by using natural materials of high quality. To her, it is important that the shape is simple, but elegant, and the pattern design plays an important role in achieving the desired result. Her main source of inspiration is the colours and shapes of nature. Therefore, natural materials are the only choice for Carin’s garments. She only uses yarns that are made of natural materials.

CERAMICS

Ceramic crafts for joy, gifts and dreams ... Creating beautiful and useful objects in stoneware is a source of power and joy for me. For over 20 years, I have been inspired by the clay's possibilities on the turntable and in the meantime my workshop in Lomma has gradually grown. I have filled shelves and cabinets with small and big things that are a delight to the eye.

TEXTILE AND GLASS

Dyveke is active as an artist and craftsman in Malmö and Österlen. She works with visual arts, glass, and textile art. She has many years of experience working with design and product development in her own studio. Hand printed utility art and graphic playful design are her signature. Fundamental to the work is the love of the craft and finding new ways to develop an idea-based design language. Dyveke is educated at Beckmans designhögskola  in Stockholm.

CERAMICS

Göran started with pottery in the 1970s and is self-taught but has recently received a craftmanship diploma in pottery. He is a member of Konsthantverkcentrum. His workshop is located outside Broby in northeastern Skåne where he has lived and worked since the mid-1990s. His utility goods have a somewhat rustic character and it is important for Göran that his products are functional, for example a mug or jug. The glazes he uses for utility goods are of course non-toxic.

METAL

Helena: "I design candlesticks and other metal objects that are made with laser cutting. I draw people and animals using my own design language that is easily recognized in all my creations. They are kind and happy. I hope you get a little warm in the heart when looking at them. It starts with a drawing. The hand and the imagination allow different motives to take shape. Sometimes it is an idea that governs and sometimes the result grows more spontaneously. I am inspired by the stories of the greatness of everyday life. Many of my candlesticks are like little fairytales; stories of love between people, animals, and nature. It is about joy, strength, comfort and freedom. About life".

WOOD

Håkan: " I grew up, and still live and work, in Malmö. For my entire life, since my early teens, I have worked with, and been fascinated by, wood. From ship and aircraft models to furniture and furnishings. I am self-taught. However, I gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration from my father and my grandfather. My boxes are my own design and handmade by me.

TEXTILE

Ingela Bergmann has worked with color, form, visual art and illustrations most of her life. She is educated in art, graphic form and in textile.
A few years ago, she inherited a lot of yarns and started to embroider with wool and linen. Since then, she has not been able to stop, as new ideas for motifs and color combinations are constantly emerging. She makes decorative pillowcases of the embroidery.

METAL

Jenny - "In my design, I start from when the pen meets the paper. I like to draw by hand as it creates a more genuine feeling. It is with consideration of mankind and the environment that I have chosen to produce in Sweden". Jenny Frank is educated in Scotland.

SILVER

Madelene - "I am a trained silversmith via Handicraft apprentice and have since 2008 made jewelry in my smithy which is in Svarte outside Ystad. I mainly create in silver which I think is a beautiful material with fantastic possibilities to process and which can vary in structure and surface. Sometimes there are details in copper, brass or gold included in my articles. All jewelry is handmade and thus unique, I often use recycled silver which I melt down as details or a whole jewelry ".

METAL

In MIA's forge, silver, iron and scrap become handmade angels, trees and spheres. A little crooked, a little crunchy and no copy really the other like. Mia's interest in metal creation was born during her ten years as a welder in the industry. In time, she began to explore what she could achieve with what ended up in the container. Scrap. An amazing source of creativity, it would turn out and she still uses scrap as long as possible. Remaining and utilized make it unique to each creation and, given our environment, it feels right to give new life to what would otherwise be consumed. Her jewelry is made in 925 sterling silver. Different metals, different properties, the same wonderful creator joy!

METAL

Mikael - “An old fascination with lamps and candles sparked my desire to create unique lamps. As a child, I dreamed of having my own lamp shop and I have always seen the potential In old, obsolete things that have been discarded.

My items are made by hand and are only available in a single copy. I do all my work with sustainable manufacturing in mind. Down to each screw, my lamps and candlesticks are made by reutilization. The exception, of course, is all electrical material that is newly manufactured in the EU. All electrical work is also carried out in accordance with EU requirements and rules on electrical safety.

SILVER

Sophie is a goldsmith with a sense of silver. She makes jewelry with a playfulness and a bit of poetry. Growing up on the island of Ven in Öresund and its closeness to nature have refined her pure design language. Reuse and concern for the environment is important. All jewelry is handmade and can therefore differ slightly from jewelry to jewelry. Consciously, one is not meant to be completely the same as another.

TEXTILE

My passion is retro fabrics from the 1950s, 60s and 70s with their beautiful colours and designs. For the last 20 years I have worked in my textile studio in Domsten outside Helsingborg. There, I make new creations from these handpicked, saved retro fabrics. All products are handmade by me, it can be a floral curtain, grandmother's apron or a colourful summer dress that turns into a new nice patchwork, party flags for the garden or something else, it is my inspiration that governs. I hope you will enjoy my colourful products.
