Traditional cleaning + New design = Rebrush

Rebrush is a renewable kitchen cleaning collection made of loofah and brass, by designer Jingbei Zheng, to offer an enjoyable cleaning experience for people without environmental impact.

The most common dish brushes are made of different types of plastic, which are difficult to recycle. What makes it even worse, is that they have a relatively short life span and are designed to be disposable, but in an unsustainable way.

Inspired by the natural and traditional material, Rebrush explores new possibilities in its modern utility. Because loofah is a plant and natural material, it is 100% biodegradable.

With the easily assembled loofah head, people can replace only this part to avoid complete product waste. With periodical change, it helps to stay hygienic. What’s more, the jewelry-like handles produce an elegant feeling, which turns kitchen cleaning into a pleasant thing to do. More than cleaning tools, they can also be a decoration in the kitchen with their aesthetic forms.

This collection is a design combined with “old and new”, aiming for a sustainable future.
